How to book a Wedding Planner

So you’ve seen a Tik Tok or an Instagram post that caught your eye and you’d like to see if I can help you with planning your wedding? What do you need to do? What’s the process to book a wedding planner? Read on to find out!

Wedding Planner, Kent Planner, Sussex Planner

This brief blog post will talk you through the steps that we go through before your booking is confirmed - so you know exactly what to expect!

  1. I'm recommended to you/you come across me online and you want to find out more

  2. Send me an e-mail or DM to book an initial call and I'll get back to you within 48 hours

  3. We have a quick catch up at a mutually convenient time to see if I’m the right fit for you

  4. We then book a free, no obligation consultancy call

  5. At this call I find out more about your upcoming wedding and get to know you as a couple

  6. I put together your bespoke proposal, based on your exact requirements

  7. You receive the proposal within 48 hours and take a look

  8. Once you’re happy with the proposal you give me the go ahead

  9. I send over your Ts & Cs and initial invoice

  10. On receipt of the signed documents and payment – your date is BOOKED!! This is where the fun begins!

It may seem that there are quite a few steps to go through before you actually have your date confirmed – but they are necessary (unless you’re booking a consultancy service)!

Wedding Planner, Marquee Planner, Dry Hire Coordinator

When hiring a wedding planner – you’re not just hiring a tradesman who comes in and does a job and leaves. Like with any service provider you hire, you have to trust your wedding planner; but you also have to ensure that you click. Your wedding planner becomes your CONFIDANTE, your SUPPORT system and your biggest CHAMPION throughout your wedding planning journey.

It is essential that your planner not only offers a service that you are happy with – but that they’re also a person you can gel with. You won’t be exactly the same as your planner – but you want to be able to get on with them! This is equally as important if you're hiring someone to help you with the lead up to the big day or if you're looking to hire a planner to help you from start to finish.

If you’re looking for someone to help you to plan your marquee or dry hire venue wedding celebration, then have a look at my website to see how I can help you at The Country Blush!
