I'm Evie - the face behind The Country Blush!
I plan bespoke weddings and events across Kent, East Sussex and the South East.
I pride myself on really listening to my clients’ needs - creating celebrations that truly reflect them as individuals.
I work closely alongside my clients in order to plan the event of their dreams; whilst highlighting that it isn’t just about the end result – you should enjoy the process along the way and see it as a journey. I love getting to know them, as well as their friends and family, and championing them throughout the event planning process calmly and decisively.
My previous work has always been focussed around helping others - from my weekend job caring, to operating as cabin crew and working as a primary school teacher. This desire to support others, alongside my drive to get things done and passion for all things events related; culminated in me training with the UKAWP and becoming a wedding and event planner.
I’m a sociable creature and love spending time with friends and family - one of my favourite things to do is go for a long walk and tasty pub lunch! I’m fortunate enough to live in the beautiful English countryside where I can walk my spaniel for miles, with my husband and young daughter.
I am genuinely obsessed with weddings – having grown up watching Say Yes to the Dress religiously (and any other party related programme I could find)! I get a warm, fuzzy feeling when I see people make that commitment to one another and I’m the person who always cries at a heartfelt speech!
It is such a cliché, but I actually love lists, spreadsheets, diaries (I have 3!!) and anything else that keeps you organised.
